# My Timetable Privacy Policy

## 1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how **My Timetable** ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles your data when you use the app on Android, iOS, or the web.
We are committed to your privacy. The App is a local-first timetable management tool. **Your data never leaves your device.** There is no backend server, no user account system, and no remote data collection.
By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

## 2. Data We Collect
### 2.1 Data stored locally on your device
The App stores the following data **exclusively on your device** using a local SQLite database (or IndexedDB on the web):

## 3. Permissions
The App requests the following device permissions:

## 4. Third-Party Services
### 4.1 Google AdMob
The free version of the App displays banner advertisements provided by **Google AdMob**.
- **Non-personalized ads only.** The App sends the `npa: true` flag, which requests non-personalized ads from Google.
- **Child-directed treatment.** The App is initialized with `tagForChildDirectedTreatment: true`, which disables personalized and interest-based ads.
- **Content rating.** Ads are restricted to **General (G)** rating content (`maxAdContentRating: General`).
- **No tracking authorization for ad personalization.** While the App may request the iOS App Tracking Transparency prompt as part of the AdMob SDK initialization, tracking permission is **not** used to enable personalized ads.
Google AdMob may collect and process the following limited data in accordance with its own privacy policy:
- Device model and OS version
- App version
- Non-personalized ad identifiers
- Network information (to load ad content)

### 4.2 No other third-party services
The App does **not** integrate any of the following:
- Analytics services (e.g., Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics)

- Social media SDKs
- Remote configuration or A/B testing services

- **Save** a timetable export to your device's Downloads folder or external storage
In these cases, the data is shared at your direction and is subject to the privacy practices of the receiving application or service.

Your data is stored in a local SQLite database on your device. Security measures include:
- **Local-only storage**: No data is transmitted over the network to external servers.
- **Sandboxed storage**: On both Android and iOS, the database file resides within the App's private sandbox, inaccessible to other applications.
- **No encryption at rest** (the database uses `no-encryption` mode). If your device is compromised, data stored by the App could theoretically be accessed. We recommend keeping your device locked with a screen lock.
We strive to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.

- Your data is retained on your device for as long as the App is installed.
- **Uninstalling** the App permanently deletes all locally stored data (timetables, subjects, settings).
- You can also clear the App's data at any time through your device's **Settings → Apps → My Timetable → Clear Data**.
- The App automatically purges soft-deleted timetables from its internal trash after **30 days**.

The App is designed as a general-purpose timetable management tool for all ages.
While the App includes advertising via Google AdMob with child-directed treatment enabled (non-personalized ads, General content rating), **we do not knowingly collect any personal information from any user, including children under the age of 13.**
